X was born in Bolton,Lancashire and started his career in football management with Burnley in 1899 and in his first season the club were relegated to the Second Division. However X is most famously known for his activities from 1903-1924.During this time he went on to manage teams once known as “The Heathens”(Y) and (Z).Z were the founding members of the Second Division of the English football. But more importantly Y have the distinction of being the first team to be relegated to the Second Division.
